Current Projects
Clarence-Rockland Waterfront Master Plan
The Clarence-Rockland Waterfront Master Plan will help guide the future development of the city's waterfront. The project is focused on creating vibrant public spaces, improving connectivity, enhancing recreational opportunities, supporting tourism, and unlocking economic development opportunities along the Ottawa River.
The plan will establish a long-term vision for the waterfront while balancing environmental stewardship, community priorities, and economic growth.

Project timeline: January 2026 to Spring 2027 (final plan is presented to council)
Employment Lands
The City of Clarence-Rockland has developed an Employment Lands Strategy to support long-term economic growth and ensure a strong supply of investment-ready lands for future industrial and employment uses. Focused on the Rockland West Secondary Plan Area, this project assesses development potential, infrastructure readiness, land use opportunities, and implementation priorities to help guide future servicing, investment attraction, and employment growth in Clarence-Rockland.
